Eastern China Jiaotong University’sInstrumentation Engineering was enrolled formally in 2002. In 2005, the discipline received a master'sdegree program of Second-level Discipline in PreciseInstruments and Mechanics. In 2010, he was awarded the master's degree program of First-level Discipline in the Instrument science and technology. In 2014, he was awarded the Experimental Specialty of Comprehensive Reformation in Jiangxi Province. In 2016, he took part in the comprehensive assessment for disciplines in Jiangxi and ranked 2th, and the professional certification application of the Educational engineering is accepted in 2018. There are 18 professional teachers, including 6 professors, 6 associate professors, 5 lecturers and 1 experimentalist;including 11 doctors and 6 masters; including 2 doctoral supervisors, 9master supervisors. Among them, there are 2 provincial “One Hundred Million Talent Projects in the New Century”,3 provincial “Middle and Young Backbone Teachers”,3 “Young and Middle School Subject Leaders in Jiangxi Province” and3 people who have the experience of studying abroad. In the past five years, professional teachers have received 9 National Natural Fund projects, 20 provincial and ministerial projects, and more than 19 patents for invention. What’s more, students, who study the discipline, have won 17 competitions in the industrial or provincial level or above, and have applied for 18 patents. For the employment rate of graduates in recent five years, it has been always more than 95%, and the employment of the industry of rail transit accounts for nearly 40%.
