This major is trained to meet the needs of national construction and economic development, and has the basic theory of vehicle engineering and professional skills. It is able to engage in engineering and technical personnel in the field of vehicle engineering, such as design, manufacture, application research, application and maintenance and management. Our graduates have the qualities and capabilities of engineers, and can propose effective solutions to related technical problems such as vehicle engineering design, manufacturing, operation and maintenance after about 5 years of practical training.
This major is a pilot program for the Ministry of Education's Excellence Program, which is divided into three types of pilot projects for rail vehicles, EMUs, and automobiles. In 2017, it ranked first in comprehensive evaluation of vehicle engineering in Jiangxi Province.
